Why Prāṇāyāma?
Prāṇāyāma is much more than a breathing technique—it’s a practice that connects body, mind, and spirit.
-
Regulate Vital Energy: Prāṇāyāma harmonizes the flow of energy throughout your body, enhancing overall well-being.
-
Mindful Balance: It calms the mind, helping to regulate thoughts, desires, and actions, fostering poise and clarity.
-
Cultivate Willpower: Through consistent practice, Prāṇāyāma develops immense will power—essential for mastering oneself.
Take a 30-Minute Break Each Day!
Gift yourself a moment of peace and power. Transform your energy, one breath at a time.
-
Please find a quiet space for your practice
-
Be on an empty stomach. You may have a few sips of warm water if you're thirsty. It's ideal if you can evacuate your bowels before practice.
-
Please sit on a yoga mat or any mat/carpet/blanket during practice. We always start with gentle stretches to warm up the body. You may refer to the above images for different Pranayama-friendly sitting postures. You can choose any that's comfortable for you.
Note from Dr. Prakruthi Hareesh: This questionnaire is designed to help me understand your background, health conditions, and preferences, so I can tailor the Pranayama sessions to support your needs best. Based on your responses, I will suggest appropriate modifications during practice.
Please note: I will not mention anyone by name during the sessions. Modifications will be shared generally—for example, “If you have high blood pressure, please practice this at a slower pace.” Your responses will remain confidential and are meant to ensure a safe and supportive experience for everyone.
